Who is responsible

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA). To deliver pages and keep the site secure, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel may process data in the USA. Transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses in Vercel's data processing agreement.

Visitor statistics

I use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see how many people visit, which pages they read, where they came from, and how fast the pages load. Neither uses cookies or stores anything on your device. Visits are counted in aggregate and cannot be linked to you as a person. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form

When you send a message, I receive your name, your email address, and your message. The form sends it through Resend (Resend Inc., USA), an email delivery service, covered by the EU standard contractual clauses. I use your details only to reply to you. Our conversation stays in my email inbox like any other email. If you want it deleted, just ask. The legal basis is your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Stored on your device

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers your choice. It stays on your device and is never sent to me.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, use the contact form. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
